When the Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going

Recently the Corporal was struck down with several serious illnesses at once, including the dreaded "Pink Eye". Concerns for his life began to mount, there were whispers he may not pull through. Sensing the concerns, the Corporal did the only thing one in his position could do. He piled the blankets high, smashed the fluids and began to sweat out his demon sickness.

He recalls a night of sweating, shivers, coughing and eye sticking. Not once did he remove the blankets piled high on his bed, weighing down his every move. He remained true to his plan.

The result; a healthy boy in the morning with no eye sticking whatsoever. Now this method of healing may not be "scientifically" proven, but it is Corporal proven. So the next time you fall ill and the "Doctors" can't heal you, remember the Corporal and his method. Give it a go, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

p.s. Remember to change your sheets after using the "Corporal Method" cause they will probably be a bit smelly.

Good Things Come to Those Who Wait....

After months of torment, anguish and interrupted weekend nanna naps, inflicted by a noisy skateboard ramp which lay barely metres from where people dwell. Patience has won a victory and the oppressed have been rewarded by the dismantling of the troublesome ramp. Why has it been pulled down? Who cares...... Where has it gone? Who cares times ten......

Moral of the story......
If you curse under your breath enough times about something and don't actually do anything about it, things will happen.

When is enough, enough?

Sometimes we don't realise we've had enough to drink until the next day...... which is sadly far too late to help anyone.

Oh my head.

Cedit Where Credit is Due...

Is this age old saying losing sway? Is credit dually being paid where credit is due? Is credit no longer an unspoken rule? Or, is credit being stolen?

It's a fine line that distinguishes theft of one's credit for reckless disregard to pay credit. The difference? NONE.

Failing to pay credit where credit is due is tearing at the seams that keeps our social structure intact. It is allowing those with no true style, no true taste in music, fashion or food, to climb high above their lowly social ranking and aspire to popularity not once attainable. Without credit we cannot truly separate the trail blazers from the masses crowding the now overflowing band wagon.

So next time you choose to waive paying a credit or even choose to turn a blind eye to a friend or loved one that may be stealing a credit, remember; the next credit being stolen could be yours.

When In Doubt...

Today I was faced with a somewhat overwhelming task of choosing a pie at Foster's Bakery. I could not decide.....Steak, Tomato & Onion or Pea Pie? The solution.....a vegetable pastie. Delicious.

Moral of the story, don't be afraid to mix it up now and again.
